Day 1: Fly to Santiago & Travel to Tui
Your adventure begins with your arrival in Santiago de Compostela, where you’ll travel south to the charming border town of Tui. Nestled on the banks of the Miño River, Tui is rich with history, from its impressive 12th-century cathedral to its cobblestone streets filled with Spanish charm. Settle in for the night, soaking up the anticipation of your Camino journey ahead.

Day 2: Walk Tui > Redondela (25km)
Begin your pilgrimage surrounded by the lush greenery of Galicia as you set off from Tui. The trail takes you through peaceful woods, small villages, and across ancient Roman bridges. The highlight is the São Telmo Chapel, a serene spot to pause and reflect. Arrive in Redondela, a quaint coastal town known for its friendly locals and delicious seafood. Unwind and celebrate your first day of walking with a well-deserved meal.

Day 3: Walk Redondela > Pontevedra (25km)
Today’s walk offers stunning coastal views and a chance to experience the peaceful rhythm of the Camino. Pass through small fishing villages and along scenic estuaries, feeling the connection to nature with every step. Your journey leads to Pontevedra, a historic town known for its beautiful Old Quarter, lively squares, and exquisite tapas bars. Stroll its charming streets before resting for the night.

Day 4: Walk Pontevedra > Caldas de Reis (22km)
Leave the bustling energy of Pontevedra behind as you walk into the serene Galician countryside. The trail is dotted with vineyards, ancient stone crosses, and inviting villages. Arrive in Caldas de Reis, famous for its natural hot springs. Treat your tired feet to a soothing soak and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of this picturesque spa town.

Day 5: Walk Caldas de Reis > Padrón (25km)
Today’s journey takes you through eucalyptus forests and pastoral landscapes as you head toward Padrón, a town steeped in Camino legend. Tradition holds that the body of St. James was first brought ashore here. Explore its historic sites, including the Santiago Church, and don’t miss the chance to try Padrón peppers, a regional delicacy. This is a day to savor both the history and flavors of Galicia.

Day 6: Walk Padrón > Santiago de Compostela (22km)
The final leg of your pilgrimage is filled with emotion as you approach Santiago. Pass through charming villages and peaceful trails before the iconic spires of the Santiago Cathedral come into view.
